Jean Marie Twenge (born August 24, 1971) is an American psychologist, author, consultant, and public speaker. She is a professor of psychology at San Diego State University. She is known for researching narcissism, which, she has concluded, is more common among younger generations. She is also known for her books Generation Me and the Narcissism Epidemic, and has worked as a consultant to advise companies about the distinctive psychological aspects of millennials.
